Yep..stranger things have happened...I thought I would share this story with the protege club, considering I've shared it with everyone else!

I was stopped at a light on my way home...the V6 Stang goes vroom, vroom, VROOM! I thought to myself, "does he really want to race? Ok, FINE!"..and we were off!

He was peeling & squealing, I just took off like I normally do. I had him through 1 & 2, then he caught back up in 3rd. We didn't make it too far before we had to stop at another light.

I call it a TIE! Thanks to my new Kartboy power shorty shifter! However, if we would have run it out a little while longer, he would have taken me.

 

What year stang was it? The 99+ V6s are quick, but the pre-99 v6s are slow slow slow. Good job none the less

Yeah, it was a 96-98 V6....still though, I think the guy thought he was gonna whip me (what with all the VROOMING and SQUEALING!)

 

I think those mustangs had around 150hp or something... and they're really heavy too. The RWD is probably what kept it up with you from the launch, even though it was spinning.
