Grinding noise when acellerating to the left?

When ever I acellerate hard to the left I hear a grinding noise from the transmission. The dealer couldnt find anything rubbing so they said that I should keep an eye on it. That was two years ago and it hasnt got any worse so Im not to worried but does anyone else have this sound?

It sounds like something is rubbing or almost like the tire is slipping but its not and you can kind of feel it in the drivetrain. I test drove another 1.6 and I couldnt feel it so I know its not on all.

Could it be the tire rubbing against a loose wheelwell cover?

When I took it in the first thing the dealer said was its probably something rubbing but when they got it up they couldnt find anything. They were very vague about what it might be and Im kind of pissed because they seem to be avoiding telling me somthing. Im affraid that somethings going to give after my warranty is up in another 20 000km.

Ya I feel like its the differential! From what I understand I think its trying to engage the wheel thats supposed to be cut off while cornering that sharp.

Na its not them. This noise has been happening since the car was new. You can feel it through the drivetrain. Usually everyone who rides in the car agrees that its coming from the tranny so.... I dunno.
