Cold weather = Frozen Brakes

I got out of work yesterday and my rear brakes were semi-seized up. It's been rather cold here lately, especially for the area. Frozen doors I can deal with, but frozen brakes are a bit much.

Is there anything I can really do to make it stop? I drove the car later last night and all was well. I've since stopped using the e-brake when I'm parked. My roomate said dump hot water on the rear disks... but it's cold and don't want it to freeze more, hehehe...
