Im looking for the best Sub and Amp combo for 400 bux or less!

I have already decided on the HU, its an alpine. I dont know jack about alpine subs or amps, are they reliable? To they bottom out easy? I was thinking about going back to Orion because i have used Orion all my life, but i want some opinions!

What are you looking for, 1 or 2 subs? If only 1 then try a JL Audio 12w3 that packs a good punch, with a decent rockford amp.
