For everyone who lives in the socal area, there will be a dragrace/carshow event on September the 6th, at Qualcomm Stadium. This event is put on by SDSU RaceLegal.com. Gates open at 4:00p.m. The racing is from 6-11p.m. with time trials lasting till 9p.m. There will be grudge racing after the eliminations. The carshow will be from 5-9p.m. The carshow checkin will be from 2-4p.m. To be in the car show you must register before September 4th. It is actually a 1/8 mile strip, but it also has 4(!) lanes so it is pretty kewl. You guys need to do a 4 lane Protege grudge match.

Hmm.... might be fun to take the race car out there and se what it pulls... it really doesn't feel that fast but I could be wrong.. I pulled on a Integra GS-R and passed him in 4th gear. Sept 6th... hmm.. doubt I could make it in time from up here.. ah well

Damn races, were cancelled due to the rain.

They said that the next ones would be held on Friday September 27

 

They will be racing 7 Friday Nights in a row starting Sept. 27. I went there even after we were told it was rained out to help tear everything down.
