I know this sounds like it belongs in race stories, but I'm just wondering how these two cars would stack up. A 2000 Subaru Legacy (basic model, 4 spd auto) or my 5 speed 1st gen with KN filter and custom 2 in. exhaust, 16 inch rims.... I would really like to know how they stack up....and i know you guys can tell me Please help me out! My friend has this car and jokingly says she wants to race me, it would be awesome to have an idea what would happen! Thanks!

 

it would probably be close but i would put my money on the legacy. AWD = very good launches every time without too much effort.

 

Yeah unfortunately that guy could just stomp it and leave you in his dust. He would even have his right hand free to wave Bubye!
