Front whell lock nuts...

My lock nut on the front wheel is incredibly hard to unscrew. (yes i moved the little metal nutch that locks it)

I lifted the wheel a bit (but just enough to keep it from moving), then i unlocked the wheel nuts a quarter turn just to loosen them, then I used a screwdriver and a hammer to undo the metal lock on on the lock nut and finally I tried a 2 and a half feet "force arm" attached to the 32mm nut to unscrew it and it never moved... (i was lifting the car trying to make it move! )

What am I doing wrong? or is it just too hard to do it by hand?

I got to change a the outer drive axel boot. If you got any thrick tell me please!

Keep the car on the ground, have someone hold the brakes and put it in 5th gear. I use a 4-foot bar and a 1/2" drive ratchet with the 32mm to break them loose and tighten them. Usually I have to stand on the bar to crack them loose. Use some WD-40 and just keep goin at it...they come off eventually.....
