ProtegeClub front page
In light of the recent discussion about tagging other proteges to come join our club, it may be worthwhile to update the front page of the website?
Most of the info presented on the main page is out of date and should be updated or removed altogether. Case in point - the braided steel brake lines discussion hasn't been posted to since January...
Not a very good impression for a first time visitor to have the home page of our site featuring old or missing info.
As well, I'd HIGHLY recommend changing the black text on dark blue background. It's virtually impossible to read.
Just a thought!

Hi Jason
Yeah, good suggestion! Actually the font could be a bit bigger also as I have my screen set for 1024x720 and the writing is small, okay tiny.
Wow about have the differnt Mazda logos there also?
Cheers

Here's my thought on that...
Since this site is primarily here for the forum, I'd say that since Jeff is gone and no longer a part of this site, that all the members of the site have become the NEW owners of the site and it should be up to them now to change the page as they see fit.
I'd like to see a better designed/up to date front page or just remove it and have the main page the main page of the forum.
I think whether he was still here or not, he would like to see the site remain popular, and having a stale front page doesn't influence people to hang out or dig deeper to find the up to date pages...
Maybe we should have a vote?

This current webpage is nice, it's just that it's not getting updated, and could always use a refreshment.

Just don't go overboard. We probably want a subdued elegance.

Hahaha..
Yeah - i sure do, but any chance to do web stuff, I'll take!! It'll be a nice project for spare time. Wedding planning is nearing completion and house things have calmed down for the time being so I can start devoting some time to playing web master again!
