The P5 may be slow stock but stick a RACTIVE intake in there and suddenly it tranforms into a 12 second beast.

protege in the 13's....

I know for a fact that a 2.0 protege can run all motor 13's. I don't know if you've ever seen a mazdaspeed parts list but they sell the parts to do it.... ALL MOTOR. They have everything from lightened forged internals to 6.5lb flywheels for 2.0's. The catch is that you can't buy, unless you race. Get yourself a 4 digit window number and a nira, scca, idrc ect... membership and your in like flint. Buy the parts... you will dominate.

Man I hear ya completely yo. My car is pretty close to 13's all sticker.
I just need a couple more ractive stickers, maybe a type-r windshield banner and a bigger spoiler. When I stand behind my car it barely reaches eye level. I've gotta atleast look up before its tall enough. Next thing I need after that is side markers and clear corners galore, thet should help me break into the 12 second range. That'll be mad phat yo.

I see you have the type-R banner... but what about the badge... you gotta have an R in the badge to be able to do what you say...

Can't believe I forgot about that. Yeah, thats worth another 10 hp at least. I think next time I go to the strip, I'll pull out the 60-70 pounds of interior, like seats, console etc, but I'll leave the 200 pound of subs, boxes, amps etc.
