Scared Shitless....
well, i got a hella heart pumping this afternoon. It was pouring rain, cruising at 55mph in the middle lane, a few cars to my left and 1 to my right just up ahead...he starts hydroplaning and creeping over into the middle lane (mine)....he made the mistake of trying to turn out of it.....he had his wheels cranked when it came out of the puddle and caught grip, spun the rear around and he was off....my only escape was to my right, exactly where the big puddle was....well, lemme tell you that the EVO bumper makes a nice plow i did the wiggley for a few and then caught it and made it through....It must be an omen, as i just got new tires last night...if i still had the old tires, i would have been in serious trouble...the new Kumhos kept me on the road.

Damn, had that happen to me a few times, hydroplanning or whatever it is called, you sort of have to predict that it will happen and aim the car to go which way you want it to go even if you can't turn..... But Mad323, I know the feeling, I was trying to do my top speed a few nights back, and then saw the cop when I was doing about 145 km/hr and started braking and downshifted to fourth, I was down to about 80km/hr when I passed by him, and I didn't get pulled over or anything.....

yeap that can be freaky... so you got your good test of the kumhos ahy?
man those tires are so nice!!! I know the feeling when they hit the water, and you anticipate the hydroplan, but it doesn't happen.
There is one particular place on a hwy here in Richmond (east/west connector) and the road dips down a little, and collects about a inch of water... really a bad area... with my old tires, my car use to fish tail around a little, and thats doing 100km/h.... with the kumho's I can fly thru at that speed, and faster, and they cut right thru...
