Protege5 vs Intrepid

I was on my way home from work AGAIN around 10:30pm.....and im next to this new Intrepid at the light...when the light turned green i accelerated at a normal speed and this Intrepid floors it after i pass him up... so im like whatever... then we get to the next light and the same thing happens...so im thinking if he does it again at the next light im takin this guy. So we're at the next light again...so when the light turned green i took off at a decent speed and waited for him to try and take off....so when i see him speed up and get next to me I let it rip and i pull on him by a car length... and we're goin at it all the way down the road and hes right at my back bumper all the way down. Now me and him are hittin about 95mph and hes right next to me, bumper to bumper....and then we both let go about the same time and slow down for the light coming up... At the next light we give each other props and he says nice ride then turns. I wouldnt call this a kill for me or him....All i can say is that was a fast freakin Intrepid...It took awhile for him to catch up next to me since the car is so BIG.... I just hope i dont get next to an Intrepid SXT!!

Put in a turbo kit or NOS your ride and even the SXT will never catch up. Just like Vin Diesel said, "Winnin' is winnin'! It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile!"
Just remember you don't fry the pistons rings if using NOS.

If it had hubcaps it was an SE 2.7 V6(200hp), brushed aluminum 16 inch wheels, ES 3.2 (220hp and nice amount of flat torque) chrome 17's R/T (3.5 depending on year can have up to 250hp and 255 ft lbs)

Also there isn't much out there for mods for the intrepids. K&N has FIPK and a few other small places offer an intake but thats it. Everything else is custom done.
