Pro CRUSHES RX-7
Okay, we all know my title is a lie, but at least I got y'all attn.
Well tonight I was on my way to work from a days hard work(2 jobs) and I was cruisin fairly fast on the Interstate. The traffic was light so I was just sailing. Anywho, this 'orange' RX-7(yes orange) approx a '89-'91, comes flying onto the beltway. I'm in the fast lane and he's in the slow lane. So he speeds up to my pace while we're 2 lanes apart. So I'm checking out his car and notice his sweet looking dual exhaust system. Can you say Bling, Bling? Well in my head I'm like "Its on!" So as we start switching lanes I got behind him. Were doing like 70-75mph. Soon there's nothing but 4 free lanes. Then I hear him step on the gas so I do too. To my surprise I'm hanging with him. Not getting closer nor farther. Before traffic started gathering again, we had hit around 95mph. So we slow down again to around 60mph. He slowed down before I did so I got in front of him this time. Then the traffic clears again and I floor it and he does too. To my surprise again were accelerating at about the same pace. Now he's pulling on me slowly and is about to pass me. We're doing 75, 85, 89, 95, 101, 106-7-9, ?. Dag-on-it! I'm not accelerating anymore. So as i reach my peak he passes me since we all know he has a lot longer before he reaches his. It was all fun, we gave each other the thumbs, then I exited off. I was truly surprise to see that my mid-speed acceleration was almost to notch with his, but my top speed, I wish?
