The E46s are really quick. Mine is an E36 it came with 240hp stock. Ive added a CAI,Header,off-road exhaust without cat, electric fan, and turner motorsports reprogram. The car is seriously quick and should handle a GST easily the only draw back to mine is that i got a Auto.

I'm not going to get in a pissing contest here, but I have to point out facts...GSX's are turbo and come 210 hp stock with AWD, plus they are lighter cars than an M3...with simple mods you can get a GSX up to the 300 hp mark....From a standstill I'll take the AWD, lighter car with slightly less hp every time

doesnt matter...read the AWD part, that's the biggest factor in the drag race...once again mildly modified(like a boost controller and some bigger injectors is all)..a GSX would rape you off the line and beat you in a 1/4 mile and badly in an 1/8th

No doubt the are quick but most of the DSMs I see are just slow and wore out. I have seen a couple that were fast but they were definately the exception to the rule.

man u guys want to hear a dope *** story!! I got 2 really quick ones. First, i was headed over my friends house on Sat night when i saw this freakin Evo 8. So i went up next to him and reved the engine, he starts lol!!. So we kept driviin when i heard him drop to 2nd gear and with a blink of and eye blew my **** out....dammm that cars fast!!! Second in the same night comin home from the movies with my friend in the passenger side. We were on Telegraph Road(famous for cars drag racing...especially muscle cars) and were going north for like a mile. There was nobody cause tons of cops were out. Then headed home the other way and low-&-behold a race was gonna start. At first it was me and this toyota mr-2 turbo. We were heading to the light when a freakin acura rsx comes in the middle. Red, orange, green.....nothin but tires screaming. Of course the RSX blew us out but i stayed really close to th e toyota with a turbo vs a stock 1.6L protegew/racing muffler and 2.5in piping(my car). Man that was an awsome rush....hopefully i'll do that again this weekend.
