post the dyno please. I saw some dork around here who yanked off his supercharger and put a small turbo on it and couldn't get over 210whp...it was weaksauce smothered in tard juice with a spaz ou jous.

p.s. you couldn't pay me to own a GM product....I'll take an LS7 powertrain in my FC3S though.

LOL I think it's funny how every forum I join bashes all the other brands. The Speed6 and 3 get trashed by GM guys. And you guys bash GM. To each his own. I'm a car enthusiast, not a brand loyalist. I've owned Fords Toyota's, and GM vehicles. They all have their ups and downs. And the "dork" who took his blower off to put a turbo on was an idiot to begin with. People have been getting plenty of power with the stock blower. You do know there are two different cobalt SS's right? I've never raced a speed3 but, I hear they are a good match for a stock SS. I've heard a few wins and losses from people against them. If you want "proof" of SS's on dyno's, track times, etc, just go to cobaltss.net and search.

yeah because 205bhp 200btq is almost as good as 263bhp and 280btq.

I thought about picking up an Ion redline when they first came out but after driving them I felt like they were nothing more than a gussied up cavalier with horrible interior design and GM reliability.

If the MS3 was such a crap car why does every magazine and auto professional rank it as the best sport compact on the road today in every catagory? Hell some even compare it to the Evo's and STi's....which by the way, from a roll will run very closely with if not beat.

LOL i've yet to hear anyone compare an MS3 to an EVO lol I see you haven't done any research on SS's other than a magazine. Since you like to go by magazine's, look up SS track times, 0-60, braking, etc in MT C&D mag, etc. The car is underrated. It's 205 at 5600rpm. redline is at 6300 rpm. Power builds all the way to redline, it never drops off. Thus, it has more power than advertised. I'm not a magazine racer, I see my results on the wins I have. And I have wins against some decent cars

Gotta love bench racers ... a car isn't a set of numbers.

fixed it for you...

On the soapbox defending the car you didnt keep...nice...

racing in a slobalt is like racing in the special olympics...even if you win, you're still retarded...

wow they compare it to an sti. now for the cobalt

http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...let_cobalt_ss/

to paraphrase - way better than the cavalier and then, direct quote, For all of this goodness, the Cobalt SS still doesn't quite have the athletic edge of the slower, less-refined Focus and Mazda 3. The Cobalt's electric power steering smothers most of the road feel, and the thick, vibration-absorbing rim of the steering wheel takes care of the rest. The SS is really terrific when you drive it fast, but there's magic in the Ford's communicative steering that the Cobalt can't capture.

man...they made a kinda quick car thats boring to drive. awesome
