Killing impatient Civic in 1.5l Pro

This is not my story-my dad told it to me and I am sure it is 100% truth.
He was at red light in his 96 Pro with 1.5 liter(5 speed, no air con), completely stock with 13" wheels etc...
Next to him was late model riced out Civic who just couldn't wait at red light and was buzzing his fart can and creeping over the crosswalk. By the time opposite direction got advanced green this ******* was in the middle of the intersection(still with red light on).
As soon as green light hit, my dad dropped the hammer. When he shiftet to 3rd he checked out rear view mirror. Civic was about 20 meters behind.
I will leave comments to you.

Alex
