Before I got my Mazda3 I raced my Protege5 at the local dragstrip and beat a Honda Civic hatch heads up, he waz dialing in the same time as I waz and I smoked em off the line. Not to mention shutting down a Dodge Neon with Dual exhaust, and some other Hondas.

 

Where do you guys race? Near the Base? I have some family in Waimea(on the west side) and I always wonder about the little race track by the entrance to Targets beach.

Yes we race near the base, the track is a full drag strip, nothing fancy but it works.
And as for the hondas, they had about the same mods as I did except for the IAT Chip
