I raced a nother damn civic with that eclipse at the same spot tonight, one of my friends 2000 Civic EX 2 door (5speed).... so i know its all stock, minus the CAI he just added. so i figured, eh, easy 10 dollars (bet of course)...so i took him out in the eclipse (i dont like racing my p5 anymore....long story)... and ran 2 perfect runs against him.... both times, nothing but damn civic taillights...

maybe that place is cursed, oh well ill hand him his *** sometime when i decided.... oh so shitty

 

well, the NA Eclipses arent exactly fast Run em in your P5 and bet $10 hehe

 

lol i have, i won 30 bucks off him... that was the last time i raced my car,

but still that eclipse puts out what 135hp factory... vs the 120 or so from that D16 honda motor

 

Obviously the extra HP didn't do it any good? The only fast eclipse is the GST, the NA ones are not even worth the cash.

 

well id beg to differ, he only payed 2k for this car and it has 50k miles and a 5speed....perfect condition, but the car is fun as hell to drive! though it handles like ****.

but actually the fast one is the GSX..... 180-200hp i believe with awd, LSD.... fun *** car, i test drove one earlier this week (shopping for a second car, and i thought about that car.... but ill be either a RX7 or a Probe GT)

 

ahh yes the beloved AWD GSX. True masterpeice! I would take one of those anyday.

 

oh hell yes, and the one i was looking at had 90k miles on it (not bad, compression tested at 7.5, so it was still strong!) it was in perfect condition, with leather, sunroof, spoiler, and a 5speed, all for $3500... but the damn thing got sold before i could ****** it up

thats for sure! probably why it sold so soon.... kinda pissed me off because i wanted that car. oh well though, i found me a nice 1996 probe gt today, so im goin for that as my second car, if you havent heard about that.....

 

My friend's GF has a 96 Probe GT, pretty neat little car.

oh hell yeah its an awesome car, i really almost love it more than my protege (dont kill me please) but once i sat in it, revved it a bit, and drove it i fell in love.... not only is its power awesome, but the seats kick ***.... and the shifter is awesome. Let alone the stock stereo kicks some *** (since i wont be able to upgrade it for a while) with 6 speakers and a sub in the trunk... stock!

i just need to get the dumbasses at teh dealership down to a resonable price, because the car is a bit beaten up interior wise..... the leather is cracked a bit and has a few cuts, there are some scrapings on the plastic and the air vents in the middle are missing..... that and a few other various things....

but they want 7k for it, but im pretty sure from what i heard that these guys will drop alot, im hoping to get it for 5k or so.... we'll see

 

some people like to keep there cars sleeps.....that is why you better think twice before racing a ricer or someone that will say there car is stock with a big I have a friend that always comes out to the street races and will tell everyone that all he has done to his 94 civic HB is intake,muffler,vtec controller and a jdm header.....the out side of his car is stock and has 15" black 5 stars(SPOON LOOK ALIKES and weight is about 5pounds each),carbon fiber hood and lowered.................but he never tells everyone it has a jdm h22a motor in it and can run almost 12 flat in 1/4 mile...and he has more done to his car but to much to list
