Angry Got beat by a "ricer"?

I have never been so humiliated before. I had just drop off my friend to his house and on my way back I see a 1st gen civic (yea those ugly lil boxes) with a fart muffler and some rims, so I approach passing and cutting him. next thing I know, his lights are in my back bumper so I accelerate and kinda leave him until we got to a light. He was revving up his car and I was like ok. When the light turns green I floor it but the only thing I could hear was his tires chirping a bit and then he dissapeared, He had me by like two car lenghts! yeah a riced out 1st gen civic had just smoked me and to humiliate me even more he puts his hazardous lights on. Damn! I'll get his *** when I do my BPT engine swap. What the hell do you guys think that car had to smoke me so bad?

An engine.

But you passed him and cut him off, you asked for it.

Sounds to me like you "riced" him first.

He probably had a swap, like a b16. That would be my first guest.

BTW, don't sleep on Civics, no matter what gen.

Smile

I guess you live and learn. Usually when I get beat I pull the other guy aside and check out his/her ride. It's nice to see what some of the cars out there have. You should have seen for yourself.

Peace

Re: Got beat by a "ricer"?

you know, he could have swapped in the ZC engine from japan. My friend had one of those in this 91 civic 4 dr and it was really quick or he might have swapped in the b18a. that's what we are doing with my friends civic cuz his ZC blew, and those engines have a lot of torque and horsepower

sorry for you

Man you should know better than that. Never run up on someone unless you know what they have man or unless you know you can take them or maybe, the guy had major skills. with skills and the right mods anything can be fast.

Well, I guess it depends upon the person. I would consider a "ricer" to be a car with crazy stickers of modifications that their car (or SUV ) doesn't have. Exhaust TIP instead of an actual exhaust system. No type of color pattern. (every color imaginable, they have on the car). Or I would even go as far as saying improperly modifying their ride because of lack of funds. Such as CUTTING their springs to lower their car instead of buying lowering springs or a coilover kit.

THat's my definition of an extreme ricer
