Talking a good saturday morning race with the mx-3

Well i have this friend that came over last night with his new mx-3. He was happy and talking **** and the pro lx. So when he was like lets go race and see who car is the fastest i could not say no.
So we went to the local illegal drag racing spot and i had the camcorder with me. The light went green lots of tire spin( last night we got rain then it froze) and we were off. he was right next to me and i thought that it was going to be a good race then. i put it in 2nd so did he and i was gone and never looked back.

I just thought that it was a good morning race on a sat so i had to post it. some time later i will post the video or the races and him losting every time. (oh we raced three times so the video is long.)

Yeah stock mx-3s are purty slow if it was a v-6 it could have been a contender.

MX-3 V6 MTX's will beat first gen LX MTX's all day long, stock for stock. Ask Jesse

More HP, more torque, more RPM's, shorter tires, same gearing and weight...you do the math.

If it was a 4 banger MX-3...they have either 88hp or 105hp...horrible.

If anybody wants to race a real MX-3, let me know

I don't think a stock Protege could ever beat a stock V6 Mx-3. Like Dave said, it just wouldn't happen. Maybe if it was a I4 or something, because they're slow, but meant to be.

Why not try a MX-3 with a BPT in it? Or a KL-ZE?? Like you see you say you won then.

Ever heard of Dave Lauzier? Wonder what he drives!

But the 1st gen pro can have the KLZE swap just as much as the MX3 can. Just slightly harder b/c you need the MX3 suspension to get the **** to fit. I was thinking of buying a MX3 to do a BPT swap in, but changed my mind and decided to keep my protege instead and bpt it instead.
What? no love for the sport 20? HAHA, I guess we're only talking USDM here.....poop
