Civics, Sunfire, Cavys and Neons.

Hey, I know our cars aren't top of the line, but I just wanted to know how you people have help up against other cars of similar type. How have your 3rd gen protege's made out against the following cars?:

Civics, EX and below.
Sunfire, GT and below.
Cavaliers, Z24 and below.
Neons, ART, R/T, and below.

So, was it on a straightway? Or did you smoke em on the turns? Share your stories!!!

?!

You've got to be kidding me, this post has been sitting here for days now, all you Protege Owners mean to tell me that all thier cars our better than ours? You gotta be kidding me! You mean to tell me that even a Pontiac Sunfire would beat out a Protege ES off the line? Wow... I am stunned.

You could do a search to find out. Im sure Z24 will kick our *** off the line. Apparently the Pro kills all those other cars in slalom. But when do you see a slalom course when a light turns green?

My friend with heavily modified 94 golf 2.slow kicked my *** on a straight away. But then Im not really a racer... and we only raced till slightly above speed limit.

BTW, cavaliers and sunfires are basically the same car (F-body). Are you asking how the cars match up stock vs. stock or what?

The cav Z24, and Neon R/T will beat an MP3 protege in a straight line (stock vs stock). I believe all 1.8L and 2.0L proteges are as fast or faster than civic ex's.
