Bmw 323

I almost forgot about this one. Earlier this summer I was leaving work about to get on Rte. 17S when a silver Bimmer 323 was in front of me and refuse to ler me get around him. Remind you, this was the same guy who cut me off before getting on 17. Now, I'm pissed. So once we got onto 17 I knew what he wanted to do so as soon as I got onto 17 I threw it in 1st, RPM's jumped to 6000 and I proceeded to bake his silver ***. It was a hard run because he floored the auto and he began to pull on me, so I went to 2nd and began to walk on him. Maybe because my powerband ranges from 4000-6200RPM's I don't know and don't care. This German was gonna get pissed on.

Anyway, I Finally redline at 7200 so I slam 3rd gear and we're even at around 65MPH. I see him glance over at me as I'm slowly but surely passing him. So as we hit 90 his nose is at my right rear wheel and I'm thinking to myself (this is a slow *** Bimmer)So I hit the flashers to let him know he was pissed on by a car that's 17-20,000 less than his and I pull over to get some go-go juice in my gas tank. It's not over, he follows me to the Exxon station and glares at me as if he wanted to do something. He get's out of his car as if he wanted to do something. When he got out I'm guessing he's around 5'5 to 5'7 at 165lbs. So as he's walking toward my area I get out my car and begin to pump my gas. Suddenly he turns around and leaves!?!?!?! Maybe it's because I'm a 6'4" 235lb black guy?? I don't know, what do you think.

Why can't people take their whoopin like an adult?? It's not my fault he bought a 3,600lb car with only 170HP and torque that quits at 3,500RPM's

That's what I thought, but when I was along side of him the badge read 323Ci. He had the top down which means it was a Conv.

Probably so. Actually yeah, it would have been a batter laugh if I had waited. Why can't we all be mature about this. If you lose, take your loss like a man/woman and leave it at that. Or take a lessen from Jessie when he got pissed on by Jonny Tran in the S2000----Keep going and never turn around

Damn...that was funny

Exactly..........Now if it was a 325 or higher, I might have had a bit of a problem

ok, honestly speaking, if it were a 325 or 328 I would have been slammed

and you're running 14.8s in the 1/4???? is that with the audio equipment?

if that's the case, please tell me what kind of tuning (ie. ecu) you're using.

That time was posted B4 I had the engine installed.

The ((FZ_ZE)) engine only offers 170HP http://corksport.com/ without any modifications. Also Mine had to be tuned down slightly due to the fact that I wasn't passing inspection. So since mine was tuned down to around 160-163HP all of the other stuff I added ETC. custom exhaust, intake, wires, plugs, and modified boost control chip. I'm probably up to 175-180 FROM A 4CYL. engin that's not a honda

The FS-ZE is a normally aspirated engine there buddy And by de-tuned, id like to hear exactly what you mean by that.
I know......But I wasn't passing the emissions and because I'm a cop I didn't want to break the law and start buying inspections stickers cause if I get caught, Internal Affairs will have my ***

So according to the shop they had to tune down the car, to meet the state's emissions requirements. They asked my if that's what I wanted and I said I guess so....... I wanted my car to appear as stock as possible but that's kind of hard. Once you're in this racing scene, you kind of get hooked

Just as an FYI, the 323 and the 325 share the same engine in the E46 body. The 323 simply retains the old numbers to promote recognition (between the older body and the newer one). It's usually got fewer electronic doodads than the 325 and is supposed to be slightly sportier (slightly lighter). I've driven the 323, 325, 328 and the newer 330i and iX. The 2.5L is too little motor for too much car if you want performance. The 2.8 and 3.0L motors do a lot better job. The 330iX is about on par with a 328 due to the all wheel drive. My personal fave and the one I'd buy if I was rolling in cash is the new M3. That thing is a total kick in the pants. 333HP, lower weight, a MEAN IT suspension (try to avoid the potholes or you WILL be sorry), and the meanest sounding six cylinder of any stock car out there. The SMG auto/manual version is interesting, but I prefer the manual. When you crack the throttle on that baby with the stability control disabled, it breaks the rear end loose and then scoots! The intake noise of that thing with all six throttle bodies open and the tach crossing 7K heading towards 8 will make your d**k hard!

Seriously, most of the other techs and I all agree that it's more fun than an M5. I've driven almost all the new Beemers including the Z8 and my favorites at this point are the M3 and the Mroadster. I've heard the Mcoupe is a fun drive as it's slightly lighter than an M3 but I haven't driven one of those yet as we don't get them in very often.

so do you have a dyno or time slip since you had the engine DE-tuned?

Correction

323's are cheap

M3's are fun

M5's are simply incredible

Just like the Mercedes:

C class stands for cheap

E class stands for expensive

and

S class stands for **** LOAD OF MONEY
