Smile Being chased by a Toyota v6

okay u guys wanna hear a story about how a 2.0 lt beat out a V6 from Toyota... Okay it was a sunday morning (really) and yeah this guy was tailing me (the rules of tailing would be because you wanna pass them) anyways... i shaft him "what!!" hes inching closer and closer to my bumper... by the way this is 60MPH driving... okay this goes on for the next 5 minutes.. until we reach a strip of road hardly used.. about 5 miles long... and then i smash the gas on my protege... so my motor winds up past redline (Actual redline is 7000RPM i think.. cuz mines revs up that high until the CPU stops the rev from getting any higher) and im cruising at 110MPH... the Tundra is behind me about 6 car lengths behind me... i slow down to 60MPH and then he decides to pass me.... I slamn my brakes and spin it 180 degrees and back onto the throttle and i head back in the other direction... The guy flies his tundra around on the dirt.... hes following me again... of course his V6 is back right on me... i slow down and then he slows down behind me... i slamn my gas to gettaway... hes back on his throttle... its a 100mph chase again.... i slow down and then spin it around another time... then he turns also... by this time im already at 100mph and then he tries to catch up... i spin myself around one last time... Im zooming it back right at him at 100mph ..... by this time he is already too slow to turn around and catch me... I give a sigh of relief that i lost him... i think he wanted to kick my *** , i didnt wanna find out if he had a gun by thanks to my mazda.... it stuck with me... and yeah that was my sunday morning.... hehehehe it shows that it isnt the name that makes the car the fastest... its the driver and the car....

My P5 won't hit rev limiter at 7K either.....I believe THAT part of the story.

I would like to call BS on the rest of the story because I would hate to think someone on this forum is THAT stupid.

hahahaha okay besides taking my TIME to write it.. obviously it has sentimental value as it was true.. okay i can see how it isnt sureal at some points.. but yes.. i see like my fast turns were yes u turns at 35 mph... and yes it is 7000Rpms... u cant obviously make it that far when you are driving an AUTOMATIC.. duhh.. try reving it in Neutral... it will hit 7000Rpms... dont worry about it my friends have AUTOMATIC protege's.. mines is MANUAL trans.. alright.. Toyota lover... im sorry but yeah mazda all the way, if ur gonna switch over to backup Hondas (toyotas) at least say you shift as slow as the time it took you to write ur lame *** reply.. thank you...

The holocaust was true, you don't see to many people bragging about that.

No it most likely is NOT 7000. The FS-DE redlines at 6500, and fuel cutoff is not more than 6900. Your tach is inaccurate, yes it is, deal with it.

u cant obviously make it that far when you are driving an AUTOMATIC.. duhh.. try reving it in Neutral... it will hit 7000Rpms... dont worry about it my friends have AUTOMATIC protege's.. mines is MANUAL trans..
My car isn't auto, I don't know what gave you that idea.
MY car does redline at 7000 fuel cut is 7200. My Tach reads 7400 when I hit it. Yes it is inaccurate. I'm mature enough to deal with it.

alright.. Toyota lover... im sorry but yeah mazda all the way, if ur gonna switch over to backup Hondas (toyotas) at least say you shift as slow as the time it took you to write ur lame *** reply.. thank you...
That made no sense. You are a ridiculous person.

yeah, thats my thinking as well. I don't consider threads like these contributing or helpful....however I read it so I was lured in by the title due to my recent run in with a toyota avalon V6...I pulled it so I thought this might be a similar story.....alas, you can imagine my shock when THIS is the story I read.

Okay watever already... try reading other people threads... they will tell you the same thing about the fuel cut off and 7000 Rpm redline... and besides... i just joined the hundreds of people who bough RX8's because i just traded in my Protege... c'mon guys dont get pissed off at me.. its only the internet for heavens sake.... oh yeah now shifting at 7000 rpms is somewhat of an everyday thing from now on.... so long and keep that lil car going strong.... Biyeeeeeeeeeeeee
