Autocross PCA this weekend
Hey All!!
I just raced in my 1st autocross with my stock 2002MP5. I beat lots of the miata's,914's, boxter's and even some of the older 911's.
The track was 1.7 miles with a skid pad, several high speed slaloms and 2 box corners. On the back stretch slalom i was hitting speeds @80 then down to 25 for a hairpin turn.
Sitting in the pits several of the "porche guys" were surprized that my times were so good. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance to post them to a site.
Biggest problem that I found was the stock Dunlop tires. They really suxk a$$. I am switching to Yokohama AVS ES100's 205-45-16 for my next autocross.
