Anyone else beating the new Civic Si?
techinically there is no such thing as "msp cams". The Msp cams are the exact same as in any other 2.0L fs-de motor. The "j-spec" cams are just stock cams from the fs-ze motor. a small gain but not a lot. Cam gears?? Where are you getting cam gears from? SR Motorsports? You're paying $300+ for camgears? Yikes. There are many other mods that would yield better power for the money but good luck with them.
p.s. also you won't get the SAFC to work on your mazda. It's just one of the sad things about our cars. They don't work. Our ecu learns around all piggyback controllers like this. It's gotta be full stand alone or nothing. I reccommend the Haltech F10X since it's been proven to work so well in the past.

I found the part number for the "J-spec" cam and at Mazda, they showed me a box from one that arrived the day before. The box stated that it is the cam from the FS-D from the MX-6. They said that even tho it's a different car, the specs will fit an FS motor in the Protege
