Thumbs down All sizzle, no steak

Here's my story about my triumph over a riced out Civic, no taste nor mind for performance...maybe that's why i smoked him so bad with my 90 Lx stock Pro (5 speed).

Talking Another Civic defeat

So my friend bought a '02 Civic Ex despite my pleas not to. So when he got it, we naturally tested tha thing out. I was in my stock 90 Lx 5 speed Pro DOHC, and he was in his POS Vtec Civic. We race, and we start off head to head, but as i throw it into 2nd gear....i jump ahead...and when i throw it into 3rd, i jump ahead again, by this time im a whole car lengths away and still pulling....so by the time i put it into 4th, he's in my rear view mirror....ahh victory over another disillusioned owner of a Civic. :

What's wrong with a '02 Civic EX? I like their design. And what makes it a POS?

Well you just called it a POS VTEC Civic... so that was commenting about the car itself. I'm not particularly a "Civic lover" I'll just defend them if there are unecessary comments made about them. It seems like a lot of people have a biosed opinion about them, that's all.

owned by it so much? Hardly the case. Why's everyone gotta trip and be dicks? Seems like people are always hating on others for any reason they can find. This forum is still cool with exception to a few peepz that find problems in the tiniest places. Learn to live n let live...and show a lil more support for other Pro owners...

Well, I have to admit. I love my Mazda but my 2000 Accord EX is pretty fun to drive stock. Especially when it hits 4500RPM's I'm not saying V-TEC cars are the ****...But let's be for real....EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS.

Not to rain on your parade, but the car you beat was most likely a 1.6 liter DX or LX that has all of 106 hp. In other words, you did not beat a VTEC.

So lost..

Look, i helped the **** break in his freakin Civic EX. It has an "EX" on the damn car. Has triangle like taillights. Has a freakin moonroof. So quit trying to find any reason other than my skills that I beat him. "Maybe it was a DX or LX" **** that and **** you...skeptical punk ***. Can't believe this bullshit. Look, im not here to try to offend peepz...just told you a stupid story about my friends Civic Ex. And if you think I can't tell what a Civic Ex looks like....or rides like....then I dont know what else to say? I drive Valet...does that help? Does that give me any ounce of creditbility? **** this ****, why am I trying to defend myself to a skeptical **** anyways? Im out.

Well, I was commenting on the first post of the thread. I didn't notice you posted the first and second. Way to beat a VTEC.

Hey I know that a first gen can beat a vtec I have out ran vtec civics a few times. Please keep i mind that its not the car as much as its the driver.sure you put a shitty driver in a viper and unless hes in rev. he will run a pro down. but you put two cars that have close and not even that close specs and the better driver wins every time.
