are you talking about the gray/silverish outline around the gauges? (i dont recall much from when i had my pro) .. that looks nice .. but i must say that the greensih glow of the gauges is not my choice of colors .. i perfer the red IMHO

blue I would think is the best color as it is not the color of any street lighting or directions lighting. But I do love the red in my p5, very BMW'ish IMO.

the human eye can see more shades of green, and looking at green lights is easier on your eyes than red

that maybe true, but red light preserves your natural "night vision" .. why do you think that military flashlights have red lenses

Guys, make a new thread about the colors of the gauges. Back to topic: tailland, great looking setup you have there. it actually looks better than the silver-faced gauges because of the silver bezel you have. Damnn, im liking it. One question in the below pic above the bezel, the plastic looks glossy. Did you do something to make it like it or does that come stock because I dont think mine is like that?

Also, is your bezel surround brushed aluminum or painted?

hm it's the polished alu rings and a brushed alu bezel overlay actually (from speedhut) . i would never paint anything because it looks cheap most times if look at it from a close distance.
(btw: the speedhut overlay has a BAD fit!)

hm the "glossy thing": i guess it's the clear plastic cover clipped to the gauge housing which reflects the light? the gauge, the bezel or the housing are not glossy at all..
