Hello all--

normally people post pics of thier nice rides....however I had an unfortunate accident which resulted in the untimely death of my 2006 3. here are some pics. I was comming home at night from work and swerved to avoid a huge deer. I missed the deer but didn't miss the guard rail. I hit at about 40mph head on.

oh man that sucks hard. I hope you made it out ok, and that for the damage you atleast did some damage to the guard rail : /

 

Better to hit the guard rail than experience a deer coming through the windshield.

insurance paying? my agent always told me, if its deer or ditch, hit the deer (just not center) haha... so, I went out and hit 3 deer w/ my 88 mustang.

 

Damn Gina.... Glad you are ok. When I used to be in Vo Tech in high school we got in a car that a pregnant deer played chicken with. Deer cause a lot of damage. I was suprised that the guy wasn't killed.

 

Right, I totally forgot about that part. They can't consider a deer an 'act of god' and refuse payment, right?

 

I didn't get hurt and the Ins. payed for it. The car was totaled and I just picked up a brand spaking new 2008 3i touring in sunlight silver. hooray for being back on the road!

 

Sorry about your loss! But hey you're alive and have a new 08. My car was backed into by a F150, after a month of being in the shop a highschool kid rear ended me and I had a Blown motor, talk about bad luck !
