i read in some magazine that did a road test on it, they said advertised HP @ the fly was 225 and they dyno'd 250WHP,

ok this is from sport compact car magazine, January, 2003.. volume 15, issue 1.

Neon SRT calimed crank HP: 215 hp @ 5400 rpm
Neon SRT calimed crank torque: 245 lb-ft @ 2000 rpm
Neon SRT measured wheel HP: 223 hp @ 5700 rpm
Neon SRT measured wheel torque: 250 lb-ft @ 3000 rpm

still impressive.
