Snapped some pics of my P5 today...
Beautiful, cloudless sky here in Metro Detroit. Perfect for shining up the Protege5...
I just removed, cleaned, painted, and re-installed the valvecover today. I think it came out great, and the high-temp engine paint ought to hold up just fine.
Let me know what you think of my baby. Most mods can be seen below in my signature...

Here are a few more...
I like tube-type subs... self-amplified, sounds great, and easily unplugged and removed for those Home Depot runs.
When I saw the Mazdaspeed mirror cover, I had to have it. It ties the stock dash trim together with my charcoal wheels, CF tails, and CF eyelids. I bought it in Japan, not knowing at the time that I could also get it here.
I have kind of gone overboard on the Mazdaspeed stuff: exhaust, mirror cover, floormats, shift ****, emblems... I think the mats and the **** look great. I often hear, "but your car is not a Mazdaspeed Protege..." at which point I have to explain that Mazdaspeed is Mazda's in-house performance and styling division. Hey, I'm not the kid with the Mustang LX that decides to throw the 5.0L badges on the side!
And, finally, my LED washer nozzles. Shameless ricer mod. But the install was cool. I routed the positive wire into the dash, and soldered it to a terminal on the foglight switch. A separate switch in one of the switch blanks in the same area turns them on or off. It's cool, because:
1) It looks clean, the switch blends in with the OEM stuff
2) The LEDs are only on if the headlamps are on, meaning that I would not forget about them and drain the battery.
