RX-8 wheels on a Pro5?

Sure, why not...it's just for show, right?

there's always a photo op waiting to happen....

i posted this on a couple of forums, but decided i needed to share this with you guys and gals. let's just say i have a 'racing' friend who is nice enough to let me borrow parts like these beautiful 18 x 8 rx-8 wheels, with a fat set of hoosiers on 'em:

just a little bit BIGGER than what i normally run:

damn these are sexy:

kinda remind me of my stockies...only larger and less shiny:

little bit of a rubbing problem here:

man, all i can say is WOW:

looks like it works to me.....I like but I'm not sure about the fender being so close to the rubber. I'd want some more wheel gap just for peace of mind.

Yup, them are some nice lookin' wheels.
But I thought all Mazdas were +45 offset.
Maybe just the Pros & Miatas?
