p.s. Karen, I just read a new focus magazine and they had a Mid-engine SHO-powered Focus ZX3 making 300hp....it was CRAZY!
It's all good...we can put 10+ car lengths on Cobras....

Definatly not stickie badges. They are glued on, but they also each have two little poles that stick into the car to add extra support. So you can peel them off, but there are gonna be holes in your hatch afterward.

you should use the holes to have the dent popped out and then filed in. They'll have to drill for the dent anyway....might as well save yourself some time.

Hmm...but this costs $ of which I have none [right now]. So, I guess the shaving is postponed for now

I think the 7 is going to be geting the "special treatment"....the wife seems to have fallen for it so instead of being a daily beater it'll most likely get gussied up a little.

just fyi, (sorry for th OT Karen), I'm going to be selling my p5 with supercharger and goodies if you guys know anyone interested in it. It's time for me to move on to something else.

and to get back on topic.... i got a quote to shave/repaint my trunk $150-200 - sounds high to me, but the guy IS a perfectionist...

thats not a bad price. it's a few hours of labor, materials and skill....sounds very fair to me.

he told me the material would probably run $100-120 - this is another thing on my lengthy todo list.

Well, my painter (his family owns the body shop) said it would be ~$400 to repair/repaint the hatch or ~$1000 to get a new hatch installed/painted. If I wanted to have it "professionally" done I have the access to his facilities at any time!

This guy is my wife's uncle - and he is a perfectionist - painted the fendor/hood on my van (now sold) 3 times b/c he just "didn't like the way it looked"
