Thanks for all the comments! The pinstripes were a spur of the moment thing and very cheap (somewhere around 5 bucks) and can easily be removed.

I will probably get some 17 inch wheels eventually. I was looking at the Konig Traffix, with a gunmetal finish and a machined polished lip. They would look much similar to my snow tires.

Another thing i was considering were the euro headlights from www.procarparts.com. I've heard the fit and finish is just like the stock headlight for only $160 for the set.

Here is a pic before the body kit with my snow tires on it, what does everyone think?

Oh by the way they are 205/50/16 Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50's, which is the same size i have on my summer tires. (the stock ones)

Those are just 16X6 inch steelies. I got the wheels with tires already mounted and balanced from www.tirerack.com. These were one of my better investments, absolutely awesome in the snow!!

ave you thought about getting the MS spoiler?? I think it's the best looking spoiler on the road today (the 03 not the 03.5)

Yeah i have considered the MS spoiler, but i'm not sure if i want the "hey look at me!" attitude that the MS spoiler may attract. Plus i wouldn't want to be mistaken for an MSP and get my *** handed to me. I like the "ES" look, it looks sporty and subtle, and it will help out when i eventually get a turbo kit and no one will expect it.

Also the cops around here are dicks, so i'm trying to stay away from mods that are too flashy.

Thanks for all your questions, comments and opinions. Keep em comming.

Also, is there anyone else in the dayton, OH area?? there aren't too many Protege's in my area.

You do realize that there are going to be VERY few people just riding around on the street that recognize a MSP spoiler for what it is, right? Only real protege or mazda guys are gonna notice, and they'll be able to tell it's not an MSP anyway. I wouldn't worry about someone racing you and saying they beat an MSP just because of the wing.

Yes that is very true. Never really thought about it that way. Which MS spoiler do you like better? the 03? or 03.5?

To add to my previous post about my snow wheels, they are steelies yes, but i forgot to mention that i have the chrome rings that snap to the wheel. They are plastic and won't rust like metal rings. Got em at Pep boys for about 8 bucks a ring. I thought they would look nicer than plain old black steelies.

I think the ES spoiler is better looking anyway. In fact, I think a lowered ES with some nice wheels looks better than an MSP! Drop that puppy and put a turbo kit in it and you've got one hell of a good looking sleeper(that's an oxymoron, I know )

Nice car!

I ain't no Ox Moron....

Yeah his Es looks great like that. I'm just partial to the MS body kit. I think it toes the line of being aggressive and non-descript at the same time. thats important for me.

I was thinking of doing the front bumper lip but it looks stupid on my color. It does looks nicer on black but still you can't beat the MP3 front bumper, there's just no comparison. you ever thought about the APC jewel style tail lights they really look good on black, I have those on my car and they look pretty good with the bumper skirt.

I only have one picture and it would be a travesty to post it since it doesn't do it justice. You just have to see it in person to see how well it works with the bumper skirt.
