BTW...if anbody is interested in buying it, it is FOR SALE and listed under the Protege's for sale forum. Figured that there is more traffic through this forum than that.

I always wanted to see how a silver 5 would look with gunmetal colour rims, although not stock. But very nice indeed, your car looks really, really good. What did you use to paint, coat the wheels like that?

I have a friend that paints, he sprayed them with a gun metal grey paint and auto clearcoat. I love the look of them, I have 18" 5zigen fighters in Bronze as well, but am selling those, as well as my protege5.

Nope, it is definetely a Gun Metal. Not blue at all, maybe you should adjust the color/contrast on your monitor :-D ....JK

I just used Satin Black spraypaint. First I sanded it with some 1500 grit wetsand paper, then I primered it with black primer, then i finished it off with satin black and a coat of clear. Thanks!

Well, kinda....I am looking to get some bills paid off this summer, and then get a 97-98 M3. I love the mazda, handles spectacular, just need something with alot more power...ya know.
