Pic o' the Day
amaff: was the pic not showing up? problem solved though, i guess. sorry for the inadvertent oddity.
the silhouette is an s2000 in every sense. among other things, only that car this side of production vehicles has front fenders that flat over the tire. so much for wheel travel...

<= confused, whatever lol
Yeah, now that you mention it, it may be an s2k, or an NC miata. They're pretty similar in silhouette.
and on that note, m0ar m1ata!

I need to wash her so bad. She's only got a *few* cone scuffs LOL. I guess that's what happens when you let everyone and their brother driver 'er
.
Also...for some reason, it looks like I've only got a roll hoop over the passenger seat. The A pillar blocks out my side. Kinda strange.

*OT* do the roll hoops clear the helmets? looks like it's cutting it really close. Sucks that for a lot of people, to be legal for most forms of racing, you need roll hoops that are tall enough to require modifications to the soft top to still function.
It's not a huge deal in autocross. I didn't really get the bar for racing purposes, but more as a general "in case of rollover" insurance policy. If I decide to do PDXs with it, I may need new seats that put me a little lower. One of the BIGGEST problems with roll bars in Miatas is a) the top has to clear b) the seat is already pretty much on the floor. To get any lower, I'd have to bolt my current seat directly to the bracket. I don't see a valid argument for doing that in a street car.
I may get a couple of for cheepies Kirkley seats and make a bracket to bolt them to the floor for PDX purposes in the future and just swap them out. It takes like 10 minutes if the top's down
