Installed CF eyelids
Painted calipers (will have to re-do, since they are ORANGE) (Ha ha...go Miami!!)
Will redo them red tomorrow if the weather co-operates
Re-wired side view lights for a ultra clean (no visible wires) look & took a pic of them at night.

I used some hi-temp paint and yes...I got some on the rotors. No biggie as a quick ride around town took care of that. Looks good, but once I change the color, it will look alot better IMO.

The damn thing was supposed to be "burnt orange" (red/black/orange)...thought it would look nice...subdued if you will...naw, I was wrong...BRIGHT orange and it throws the color coordination the 5 has way off. Too contrasting, so I will be going the old fashioned way...RED...lol....maybe something else may catch my eye, but a dab of red back there I think will look good.

Matt, the pics don't do them justice (being I took that this morning overcast and I was in the shade)..I'll get a nice sunshine pic (probably when I leave for sunny Miami tomorrow night).

I had to do everything by hand since I can't paint at the auto hobby shop here on base. I did however had to use the impac on the 2 rear wheels since I couldn't break them by hand. After that, I had to hand crank each side up w/the stock jack. All 4 took me roughly an hour to do. If I had a floor jack it would've been 30 minutes tops. If I had a floor jack & a set of jack stands, 15-20 minutes, since you can go through all 4 at one time.

I did not tape off any of the areas, I simply used the cardboard that I used when I did them the first time, cut off a flap, stuck it between the caliper and the rotor and hit it w/the paint. Flawless.

See, I was in the same predicament. Just drive to an empty business lot (I imagine most offices are closed on Saturdays)....just have your brake cleaner, a scrub brush, your paint and your clear coat. It was cake.

Until I decided to go silver & black on everything and had my wheels done, I was set on doing all my trim in MSP Spicy Orange. Not doing it now though. I think my car would look way too Halloween-y.
I'm sticking with silver & black.
