Welcome. If you hang around this forum a little, it won't be stock for long.

I've been lurking around this forum for quite some time. I only have a few, subtle and simple mods planned:

B&M short throw
Paint brake calipers (silver, black or graphite)
Mazda sport muffler
Variable intermittent wiper switch from MPV
K&N panel filter (done)
And possibly removal of the tint. (it stays for now, It's summer in FL)

If my debt situation were different, I'd do a mild drop, heavy duty struts, 7" wide wheels and a header.

I can take or leave window film. It's in pretty good condition, not discolored or anything like that. I don't have covered parking at work or home, and it does seem to keep the car cooler, and I suppose it will protect my upholstery from premature fading and all that, so I'll keep it.

TeamPlayers: I looked at a Matrix, too. I heard the XRS clutch is crap and I didn't want to have to buy premium gas. I think high-top station wagons are going to be the next big thing, and the Matrix was on the leading edge. It's kinda cool, it reminded me of a mini-minivan, the load floor with tie-downs was extra cool. Even with the high revving XRS engine, it still felt like a Corolla: wallowy ride, vague steering, floppy shifter.

I'm glad I got a p5!

I really dislike matrices (plural form, I promise) and definatly leave the tint on. I think it makes any car look better, but especially silver ones.

I didnt get to test drive a Matrix cause they didnt have a XRS, but I love that motor. If they had one in stock I might not have a P5 today. But I still love the P5.
