You have to remove the 3rd brake light and transfer it over to the new wing. The holes need to be drilled and I recommend using a bolt and nut to hold it down, as there is very little material for the factory screws to grab onto.

I had the wheel hubs turned down 5mm to make the offset that I needed.

Sounds simple, but is it? Ive seen alot of post with people complaining about certain types of wheels having the wrong offset for the p5, resulting in rubbing if the vehicle is lowered. How involved is the process and does it have any negative affects?

You have to make sure that the wheel has enough material for you to take the proper amount of material off for the proper offset. If the socket wells aren't deep enough, your lugs will bottom out without tightening the wheel. It only cost me $10 to do all 4 wheels. I just took them down to a machine shop, and they did it for me in about 20 minutes. There have been no adverse affects so far.

I have to do the same thing with mine but i'm not sure where to take it. I don't want to get the fenders rolled, what kind of machine shop did u take yours to.

I took the wheels to a machine shop that made replica wheels for kit cars. I got really lucky with that one, as it was the first place I asked. The best advice I can give you is to call all the machine shops in your area and tell them what you need done. They should know someone that is capable of doing it if they can't. You'll need to find a shop with a lathe that can handle the diameter of your wheel. Otherwise, a mill should do the job in a pinch.

It depends on what offset the wheels are originally. If it only comes with a +40 offset, and you know that you need a +45, then the difference would be 5mm.
