I put a new hood on the car. What do you guys think???

It is tough to get a good picture of the hood, it is a yellow and black kevlar hood. Super light, weighs under 10 pounds for the whole hood. Really cool when you look at the hood in the light, you absolutely lose yourself in the depth of the hood.

I like alot. Now those orange signals should go next IMHO.

 

14lbs? My normal CF V-weave is only 11.8. And a Kevlar weave is only supposed to be like 8lbs.

Where'd you get it from? There's either alot of glass in there, or that's one heavy *** latch!

 

As an edit, upon closer inspection, I'm guessing from the way it lines up that it's also an iON Performance hood?

 

I stand corrected, weighed the hood with a fish scale and it is just under 9 pounds... The hood lines up perfectly, I just havent adjusted it from when I originally put it on, have to make a slight 1mm adjustment on one side, I was really rushed when it went on the car, was running around 3 hours behind schedule.

Well now that the hood has been weighed, I also will be taking my time and put it back on the car properly, I'll update the pics tomorrow if time permits and take some close ups, trust me when I say it is perfect.

 

The hood looks very nice I was thinking about getting the blue and black weave myself. Is that an ION product?

 

My hood is yes. Top quality, and the only manufacturer I'd reccomend for anything Carbon Fiber. The quality has to be seen to be believed.
