My 2000 Mazda Protege

Hi Guys.

I just threw a few pics of my ride onto a webpage. There's nothing on there except for images. Click on the thumbnail to view a larger image.

Click on my WWW button to view.

nice ride...you planning on upgrading your wheels or staying with the stockers?

Thanks!

If I had it my way I would upgrade the stockers right now....getting married soon though and the wife won't let me spend much more right now.

I'm thinking about next spring though ...the Potenza's will probably have to be replaced by then anyways so might as well spend a few extra $'s and get new rims too ... maybe 16's or 17's ..hopefully used rims so it doesn't set me back too much.

Hey Jonny, the car looks good man. Me personally, i'm a fan of the stock wheels. I want me a set for winter! hehe. I like the grille, keep up the good work.

Thanks man!

Yeah the grille was hard work ...I didn't take the bumper off to do it. It would have made it a lot easier if it was though ..I just didn't want to brake any tabs taking it off.

The stock wheels are very nice ..I found that mine have a lot of curb rash (I bought it used from the dealer). Maybe next spring I will look at getting some used rims and tires.

Thanks!

They add a nice touch to the car ...16's or 17's would be nicer but I'm pretty happy for now. Maybe next spring I'll upgrade.

Thanks guys. I have audio mods as well but I didn't bother listing them.

I got the carbon fiber tails from www.driverfx.ca ..they were back ordered for a long while though.

They have that fog/melted/stressed plastic spot on the inner side about half way up that everyone else has .... I will be returning the tails ... I might try another set but chances are they will do it too.

Protetype is on his second set already and it has the same spot as mine.

Thumbs up

Looks good, I especially like the grille.

I have the same wheels on my 2002 LX. I like them, but I'll probably replace them when I trash the Potenza's.
