You have to love a car company that will put on events like this. I am getting down on my knees tonight before bed and praying they will do it again next year, and that I will be able to attend!

how were the staff about your driving? i went to the civic live event and when i drove the 6-speed accord coupe, my tires were squeeling on the course, and the staff told me to slow it down, that they don't want to get in trouble for my kind of driving and they wanted me to get the chance to keep driving the other cars. even though the staff were driving it much harder and louder when taking passengers on a test drive. and my 2nd lap with the civic si, i accidentally gave it too much gas at launch (i wanted to see if i could launch from 4500 rpm) and the tires squeeled. they gave me quite a verbal dissatisfaction about it.

Well, on the Miata & the Rx-8 course...you had all the freedom in the world. As long as you didn't spin the car or take out too many cones..you were good...you couldn't get out of 2nd because of the course, but I'm pretty sure everyone was hard launching from the line. i was ******* the 8 and the instructor was all for it!

hehe, the courses they set up for the civics and other hondas were terrible if you wanted to get out of 2nd gear. my friend accidentally hit 4th cuz the si's gear shifter was so wobbly and unreponsive. but i'd love to take out some rear-wheel drive cars for once. thanks
