Rider69, I just noticed something here, why in the hell do you have TWO side marker lights?

Is that clear one something that you added, or does it come stock with two markers??

US Protege5 came with two. THe one up front by the bumper is the marker light (comes on with the lights). THe one by the door is the turn signal light (only flashes when signal is activated). I am going to be changing the yellow ones up front for clear ones to match the ones by the doors.

Two markers seems kinda useless.

but there is not two markers. One marker up front and a blinker by the door. For Example:
BMW 745i

MB C240

It would have been nice if Mazda would have incorporated the Front marker lights into the headlight assembly like on most cars, but they didn't and since US laws call for a marker, they had to implement it by adding one to the front bumper.

they did with the mp3 and the sedan head lights. the mp3 doesn't have the marker on its bumper. i don't think the marker looks bad on the protege 5 though.
