well for me, the laser blue doesn't match the headlights, they are too dark. I think it would look best in Midnight blue or black.

I just picked up my '03 laser blue p5 yesterday, It has chrome headlights, I also work at a Mazda dealer and have yet to see a "03 P5 with black headlights, So maybe that's just a canadien thing?

 

Or it could just be a mod?

 

The 03 Protege5 at my local dealer also has the black headlights. Perhaps it is a Canada only thing.

 

I say thumbs up on both the color and the black headlights on the P5 ...

I just bought an 2003 p5 in silver. I like the way the silver looks on this car but it requires some customizing to make the car look sporty. The bright yellow is ready to go, but a little to bright for my taste.

I've added an exhaust, and intake system but I need more. I can't wait to wear out the stock tires so that I can go the 17".

I really like the Color but I don't like the headlights. I prefer the 2002 style. I also like the 2002 wheels alot better than the 2003. The side markers on the fender are nice but they should have made them amber, to match the bumper marker light. or made they both clear.

I am so sold! I kinda like the 2002 wheels as well. But that blue is just amazing. The pics don't do it justice at all.
