isnt that the one that has like something around 1100 hp?

Cuz i read about one of the supras that had a massive amount of horsepower built by titan in an edition of SCC.

What ever that car is powered by, that is one FAST car. I first thought that Viper was going to have it, but when Supra took off, I was in shock!

Be wary of any car running slicks and has a chute on the back

Anyone else notice how the viper looks like a longer, more sculpted supra? The GT-S vipers are one of the most gorgeous cars ever, IMO. I'd take one over a supra anyday.

The Viper is nice, very nice actually, but I'd still take that Supra... 8.9 seconds @ 160+MPH

OMG, I remember that show! Back when I was in like 5th grade it first started, and I remember I didn't want to play basketball at the school because the practices were the same night as the show! hahahahaha... That show was so gay!

I'll see if I can find any vids... I know I saw one of a doug legan SC kit putting down around 960whp, it was a quick romp down the freeway, getting wheelspin at like 70 and 3/4 throttle in 4th gear

www.viperclub.org is a good site, but the forums seem to be down today for some reason.

Yea, that supra looked like it could use an auto, it must be really hard to run consistantly with a car that fast and manual tranny....

Wow, 6 mph is pretty huge... I don't understand how the auto trannies for drag cars work, I've read stuff about a high stall speed which allows the engine to remain in a certain RPM range while accelerating the car, is it basically like slipping the clutch?

I know it's so the car can maximize acceleration by keeping in the peak torque range... Is that close enough?

Yeah that Supra is bada$$! I'm pretty sure he got his highest MPH at Bristol this past weekend... but his ET didn't break into the 8s. BTW the Nopi event was very fun! Hopefully I'll have my car ready next year to run at Maryland and Bristol.
