IMO unpainted hoods look like you have had an accident and have not had the bodywork finished yet. Paint the whole thing!
Just had to get that in

Paint the whole thing then Nick. IMO it'll look a little better than the one w/ red on the sides, and the full black carbon. Or, if you want...you can make it fade from red (on the sides) to black (in the middle). That'll give it some nice effect.

Option one looks very cool. Almost looks like it would want a darker grille though.

I tried a few more in photoshop, and I found that it looks tight as hell with the stock grills, but then the white everywhere else on the car seems lost, like the only white thing I have is the rims. In fact, that's true, but I'm theming my car red and white, so I'd like to keep the grills, etc. I'm going to get it painted, because if not I'll be kicking myself in the *** for a long time. I have a funny feeling that once it's actually on the car, it'll look WAY better than any picture could ever show.

Just did, and it looks really out of place. Thanks for the idea though!

white grills and white rims , red car with a black hood... that should look decent to me .. you really don't need much more white on the car aside from the interior

So you vote to keep the hood black? After the painting quote I got today, I might have to!

So are you goind to have anymore black on the car anywhere, like what people were suggesting with the graphics or interior? Or what about any other carbon fiber pieces? I personally want you to paint it, only because I drive a red Pro5 and am getting my hood. lol

Actually I think it looks better painted either way. Nice car though.
