I saw that in a magazine from France last year... It was in the same booth as the Porshe Cayenne, right?... Doesn't exactly match the front. Would be cool for Porshe to build a completely original wagon, though... with that nice 300 and some odd horsepower inline six under the hood...

HAHA...It's a Porche Wagon!
What do you guys think?...Better or worse than the P5?
The rear is almost the same as the P5. It is that front clip that really doesn't match the rest of the car or vise versa.

it reminds me of the saturn wagons with ugly *** headlights. p5 is cooler, just needs the power you say that car is gonna have.

they are actually going to produce a wagon like that. i think all they did with that one was take the body of the Mercedes E320 i think and put a 911 front end on it. i read about the car on some site but i cant remember what site.
Just watch out for proche to be going into a lot of new markets in the next 4 years. their going to start to make a killing.
the new suv is going to have i think4 or 5 different engines.
one of them will have about 450 hp but wil cost around 90,000 for the 450 hp one.

i think that's just lighting wil. look at the door, it looks like it's indented in. notice the skirt on the side sticks out about an inch, looks like the fender does the same thing. **** looks kinda wack.

True Porsche Concept

That car is NOT Photoshoped. This is a true car made by Porsche. They had it on display here at the Tampa Auto show about a month ago. I love the front end of the Porsche, but on a WAGON?!?! Oh well, everyone has to come out with a wagon since the Protege5 is doing so well I guess. Can't let Mazda be original.

actually, I believe some company slapped on a porsche front end onto a corolla station wagon, hence the name "porolla" as on the windshield....

and then the car was used along with other porsche vechicles to see if there was any consumer interest in it....

I remember I read that a while ago in some magazine

Sorry guys - that most definitely is NOT a Porsche. It IS (as Akford-MP5 suggested) a Toyota Corolla station wagon with a Porsche 911 nose grafted onto the front of it. It was not built by Porsche, and as of right now, Porsche has no plans to build a wagon/sportcross/5-door/whatever-you-want-to-call-it.

FWIW, the pics of this thing made the rounds last year this time - it was at the '00 Tokyo Auto Salon, and the pics showed up in Auto Week, if I recall correctly.

porcshe uses an opposed or "boxer" 6 in their cars, not an inline and yes that thing is ugly as hell....
