Got some pics of my car finally...

It's a work in progress, I definitely need some new wheels...

I have the side skirt kit on order from mazdastuff.com as well as the front strut tower bar. I'll post more pics as I add more stuff.

Let me know what you all think, lets hear some constructive criticism.

Thanks!

Could you post a better picture of the carbon taillights? I would like to install them on my Protege. Mine is also Emerald Green. I was just wondering what they look like on a real car, not some catalog. They look good in one of your pictures. Thanks.

Very Nice!
Great start to a wonderful car.
The "Clean Look" is the way to go...Everyone appriciates it.

Next would be maybe rims, Cross-Drilled rotors, maybe a different wing, and a bit more touch up with the engine bay.

Great example of the Protege!

As I've mentioned in other threads, I'm currently looking at buying one. In fact, I was planning on a either an emerald mica or black mica ES. I'm glad you posted your pics. It shows exactly what it will look like.

Quick questions:
How low did the overall hight drop when you added your springs?

Those tail lights do work very well too! Where did you find them?

That Emerald Mica would look supurb with the high polished rims fromt he Protege5 .

Post more pictures you get as soon as possible.

(some interior shots would be great as well)

Thanks for all the great compliments!! I've always been appreciative of a clean ride... sleek-ness is the key

Here's pic of the wheels that I'm getting.. gonna put these 19"x8" Boyd Coddington Billet wheels on. Should look nice. Tell me what you think!

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to raise the coil overs up a bit to fit that 19" wheel on there....

njaremka : The ground controls are great! I'm not to sure what setting I have them at, I know theres only about 2 or 3 more threads on the actual piece from the bottom.. so I know it goes a little lower.. just not a lot more.

pro2j : I'll take a few more pics of my taillights for ya and post them on the site.. it's dark out right now or I would go do it. I'll post again in the morning. But they look real nice, I'm sure you'd be happy with 'em

MP3-Owner : Thanks! And, what sort of a wing would you suggest? Maybe an aluminum one to accent the billet wheels I'm getting? Tell me what you think.

Nox : I'm not to sure how much those coil overs dropped the car, I never measured... but it's pretty freakin' low! I got the taillights from http://www.nopionline.com . I'll take some interior pics tomorrow when I take those taillight pics for pro2j. Nothing special so far, just the radio.

Again, thanks everyone for the great responses!! It means a lot! Keep them coming, and I'll post a bunch more pics whenever I get a chance.. I just got my digital camera, so I'm turning into a bit of a shutter bug now, lol

Those wheels are gonna be PHAT!
As for wing choice...Maybe a nice billit wing or just whatever you think is best. It is your ride and you will be the one looking at it everyday.
Maybe even the MP3 wing? I like mine

I agree. Your car does look great. One suggestion I'd like to make seeing that you're into the clean look [as I am] is to remove the side door panels. I've got mine removed and it looks very sleek. I'll get some new pics up soon now that I've got my car back from the accident.

The reverse light and the turn signal are both on the bottom there... The reverse light is the one closest to the inside. I replaced the stock orange turn indicator bulb with an LED cluster bulb. After I did that, my blinkers blink superfast like when you have a bulb out... gotta fix that soon, it's driving me nuts lol .

Do you mean take off the side moldings on the doors? I'll have to see that on a car before I take mine off... get your pics up soon!
