"2.0 Designation"
Awesome setup, dude!
In reply to the "ES 2.0" designation on the side, you're right, all the 2001's are like that. Mazda dropped the "2.0" from the sides starting with the 2002's because all Pro's now come with the 2 litre engine-- They dropped the 1.6, and having them still say 2.0 is kind of pointless since they're all 2L's now anyway...
Speaking of that, I'm not complaining or anything, but seems to me like it's kind of a slap in the face now that they've dropped the 1.6's! A lot of people paid extra to get, say, an LX with a 2 litre engine in 2001, and now that's the standard engine this year, even on the entry level DX! So there's not much of any major difference between the LX and ES now-- Alloy wheels and rear disc brakes? So what?!! Many go out and get new wheels anyway, and the rear brakes aren't THAT big of a deal-- You might as well just buy an LX with the options you want and use the money you saved on NOT getting an ES to buy your wheels! Stupid marketing move, Mazda! I don't know, I just think the highest trim line should have the most powerful engine and now it doesn't. Oh well, that might change in the new model when it's released...
Later, all!

How much do those MP3 bumper conversions cost? I've seen the side skirts and the rear valence, but not the front.
It rides nice so far, haven't had any problems yet... just a lot of stares and people pointing.

Check the link in '3rd Gen' forum for prices, we just talked about it recently. Most of the prices are in CDN$ though, so make sure that you cut them in half almost when converting hehe

Ok the wheels look good, but the big wheels and the tiny *** brakes look funny, at least paint the caliper or something. There's just something about 19" wheels and stock 11" inc brake rotors that looks kinda funny.

StopTech already makes a big brake upgrade for our Pro's. It's the kit that's on the WW Protege Project.

Then, I read IT'S NOT PHOTOSHOPPED! WOW. I guess that's a compliment. The rims really work with the car.
Nice work. I love car pics with plam trees in the background
