Hmm, mine looks different than that, bah. The ground wire actually goes below into the fender. BAH!!!

 

if you can, get a pic or a few pics of the left side of the engine bay...

 

I will try tomorrow...

 

Just see if you can find a ground on the left....as long as it touches the body its all good...

I don't have the ground wires yet; I was just commenting on my stock wiring. I'll have the wires soon probably.

I just checked my ground wire. It's bolted down BEHIND THE POWER STEERING FLUID RESERVIOR!!! BAH!!! I guess I'll just have to relocate it. Now I gotta figure out how the hell I'm going to get to this screw...

 

I have a amp wire kit that I am not using now. It is 17 feet of 10 guage. Do you think that will be much different than using a lower guage wire? This is the same wire I am using on my amp installed in my car now.

Figure it probably won't make much a difference.......and will save the money of me going and purchasing new wire.

the 10 guage will be better than stock, but the thicker the wire you can get the better, which is why I recommend 4 guage wire...you get a much better ground which is what you are looking for...you should try to sell the amp kit if you want to go to a higher guage wire if you dont have the $$$..

I've been looking into this also. I'm not gonna do just yet cause I'm waiting on a buddy of mine to get thru with somethin so he can help me to a "rebuild" on my motor. I did see this on my buddy's 3rd Gen. He put a few cables but the most I remember is that he put one on every corner of the valve cover. Click the middle pic
