When you go to a car show, the cars with their hoods down usually don't get near the attention as the cars with their hood popped up My bud who showed his 68 Mustang Fastback had a nice chromed out engine, cleaned it every day or 2, yea it was tedious, but he won lots of trophies and shows..Sure it will get dirty, but who cares? When its clean it looks hella better than the stock engine bay Next time you go to a show look at the attention the cars with their hoods down get compared to those with their hoods up, I have seen judges walk completely past awesome looking cars because their hood was down, and give them a low score, anybody can keep the exterior clean it takes devotion to keep your engine bay clean, and I give mad props to anybody who does it, because like I said my bud use to do it all the time, and its well worth it. Just my 2 cents.

 

btw. Nice engine bay Where did you get your parts from?
