5SpeedP5's Red Protege5 Finally

Well ive been hangin around and non of you have seen my car yet.... i hadnt gotten around to taking pictures, but finally did......

She's bone stock til summer, unless you count my beautiful black fuzzy dice with flames on them

you can see me and my dads hauling car (as read about in off-topic) the caprice in the back round.....

For ***** and giggles here are a couple of my buddies cars

the notorious civic, owner=standard ignorant civic owner...... but hey he's cool.....

and my other friend new, old 89 tracer (bought thursday) its a 5 speed, with a pioneer head unit.... new clutch and about 62k miles on the car.... costing him about 2k.... not a bad looking car

and the last but not least my friends 99 VW New Beetle, he is obessed with her (shes named pennylane), he spends much of his online time at www.newbeetle.org forums, upgrades include new speakers all around, front=2way jbl gtos, back 3way Jbl gtos and jbl tweeters upfront...

Oh man I absolutely hate that salt.... its everywhere....

Well I am still in high school so the time that i can work is quite limited during the weeks, i work at the local school district for 6bucks an hour doing computer maintance on mondays tuesdays and wensdays for 2-3hours each day, then i work for my dad at 10 dollars an hour for about 4 hours a day on thursdays, fridays and some saturdays....
but my hours are really flexible... so it just depends on when i can get in to work, on a good month ive made upwards of 1800-2100 dollars.... sometimes more... it all just depends

plus this summer i may have another better job or something, so who knows

Well, I'm 17, and although it's no BMW, my Dad still paid for my 2002 P5 for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm working full time (our teachers are on strike here for who knows how long) and I still have to buy gas, and the wear and tear parts (i.e. new clutch, oil, etc.) The car is mine, and I can do with it what I want, providing I have the funding. There's no reason to hate. I totally respect that you bought and paid for your car in full, I know how hard it can be! But please, if I am offered a $22,000 car, you think I'll turn it down so I can pay for it myself? Not likely. In fact, I'm only one of many up here in Calgary. I'ver got a buddy who just got a 2001 GMC Jimmy 4 door from his parents, and another friend who just recieved a GMC Denali. (Yes, that's the $50,000 big *** SUV, but hey, the kid wears a Rolex! His Dad used to be the proud owner of Prospector Oil Inc. up here.)

Not trying to flame you or anything... In fact, it's nice to see more people "my age" up in here! Nice pics!

dude i totally respect that! seriously though im just proud of paying of mine.... now being given the car like that would have been an option to me but i chose to pay and let my parents pay my insurance.... long story but this worked out to be cheaper for me in the long run.....
